Former Florida Sheriff Guilty of Drug Trafficking

Former sheriff Earl Sermon Dyess Jr. faces 10 years to life in prison and a fine of up to $4 million. "Corruption inside a law enforcement office strikes at the very heart of the criminal justice system," said U.S. Attorney Robert Genzman in announcing the guilty pleas in Fort Myers, Florida.
