Medical Marijuana Activist Todd McCormick Indicted

Marijuana activist Todd McCormick was indicted on October 14 on charges of growing 4,116 marijuana plants in a rented Bel-Air mansion. The indictment also charged Kiril N. Dyjine as an accomplice. Renee Danielle Bojo and Aleksandra Evanguedlidi, who were arrested during the raid, were not indicted ("Activist is indicted over 4,116 pot plants," Orange County Register, October 15, 1997, p. 4) (see "California Medical Marijuana Activist Charged With Marijuana Cultivation," NewsBriefs, August 1997).
